Chief Hopper is a character assembled from pieces of attractive action heroes from every Hollywood genre, and naturally Dr. Indiana Jones's DNA is included. Watching Hopper and Joyce constantly bicker yet get a little closer each season, they're like Indiana Jones and Marion. Even without a direct scene homage—<Stranger Things>' treasure trove of tributes at Family Video without <Raiders>? That's cheating.
