Dustin builds Cerebro to communicate with Suzie, the girlfriend he met at camp. <Stranger Things> subtly uses <X-Men> as a hint. In Season 1, Episode 1, <X-Men> also appears in Dustin and Will's bicycle race bet. The prize Will chose after winning the race is <X-Men> comic issue #134, "The Uncanny X-Men: Heroes and Hellfire.” Eddie's Hellfire Club got its name from here too.
